Our aim as the committee is to start this society to build a community for students who are interested in innovative medicine across different disciplines. This would mainly involve students with engineering/ business/ medical backgrounds, who are interested in exploring the future of healthcare in the world of technology.
We will expand our committee by building a community for innovators to learn from experts and each other, collaborate across disciplines, and grow our ideas within a supportive environment. We envision a future where innovation in healthcare technology is driven by a wider interdisciplinary community of talented individuals. This society will be supported by open access to training, expertise, and opportunities from the National MedTech Foundation.
Every year our clubs and societies elect a new team of students to take their group into the new academic year. Being on a committee is a great way to become more involved with the community at UCLan, meet new friends and develop new and existing skills for your CV. Anyone can be on a committee, as long as you are a member of your club or society. Students that are elected onto a committee through this election will start their role on 1st August 2024 until 31st July 2025. Could you be the next leader of your club or society?
