Students' Union Elections

Each year, we hold elections for students to vote on who they’d like to see lead the Students’ Union.

We hold By-Elections to fill any gaps for the positions which didn't get filled in the main election, which took place in March. For this By-Election, there are roles available for Sports Club and Societies Committees, the Representative of Post Graduate Students which sits on Students' Council, Post Graduate Research Reps for a number of schools and an extra School President role for each school.

As a UCLan student, you’re automatically a member of the Students’ Union and that gives you the right to vote in any of our elections.

You must be logged in using your UCLan student account to vote. If you're having trouble accessing the website to vote, please email  suelections@uclan.ac.uk as soon as possible.

Voting closes at 3pm, Wednesday 12th May.

School President Elections (second role per School)

School Presidents are the senior level student representation to voice the opinions of students within each school at UCLan. They gain feedback from students and work in partnership with school senior management to create positive change on a school level. This is the second School President to be elected in each School. There will therefore be 2 School Presidents per School who will work together to represent the views of students, chair meetings between course reps and staff and attend faculty-level committees.

They also check that the Full Time Elected Officers are keeping standards high across the Students’ Union!
