Welcome to the official page for the Trauma and Orthopaedics Society for UCLan! If you are aspiring to learn more about trauma and orthopaedics then and hoping to become an orthopaedic surgeon, then be sure to sign up for our society for just 5£. Members get access to all of our special main events ! This includes workshops with orthopaedic tools such as K Wires, intermedullary nails, hip screws and much more! You can also learn from senior orthopaedic consultants on what it is like to do their job alongside the pathway to becoming an orthopaedic consultant. We will also have teaching series to help medical students learn more about trauma and orthopaedics catered to both phase 1 and phase 2. We hope that all of these events provides you with the foundation needed to thrive in the future in the field of trauma and orthopaedics and we look forward to meeting all of you!
Every year our Student Groups elect a new team of students to take their group into the new academic year. Being on a committee is a great way to become more involved with the community at UCLan, meet new friends and develop new and existing skills for your CV.
