The cardiology society aims at helping all medical students in their studies and future careers. We wish to not only help students with cardiology related topics but also with general tips to study for exams, stay motivated and having an amazing and enriching experience in medical school and placement. Our main purpose is to guide students interested in cardiology towards their career pathway and have workshops and talks by speakers to increase their knowledge and understanding of the field. Also, we aim at having regular quizzes on our instagram page. We also intend on creating regular posts to help student identify high yield topics and show them an easy way to go through the latter.
Every year our Student Groups elect a new team of students to take their group into the new academic year. Being on a committee is a great way to become more involved with the community at UCLan, meet new friends and develop new and existing skills for your CV. Anyone can be on a committee, as long as you are a member of your Student Group. Students that are elected onto a committee through this election will start their role on 1st August 2024 until 31st July 2025. Could you be the next leader of your Student Group?
