Welcome to the official Surgical Society at UCLan! The society was established to provide a surgical experience to our members and cultivate an interest towards surgery. We aim to enhance your surgical education by collaborating with consultant surgeons and trainees to organise surgical skills workshops, conferences, specialty talks, career advice and so much more. Every year our Student Groups elect a new team of students to take their group into the new academic year. Being on a committee is a great way to become more involved with the community at UCLan, meet new friends and develop new and existing skills for your CV. Anyone can be on a committee, as long as you are a member of your Student Group. Students that are elected onto a committee through this election will start their role on 1st August 2024 until 31st July 2025. Could you be the next leader of your Student Group?
