Welcome to UClan Snowsports!
We love to get on the snow and hope you will too! Wether you’re an experienced skier/snowboarder or looking to try something new, UClan Snowsports is definitely for you. We have regular trips to the chill factore in Manchester, drinking and non drinking socials based around Preston.
We’re sorting out this years trip abroad to the alps which is going to be amazing as always and we’re already excited for après! The tickets for our yearly trip tend to sell out quick, so it’s best to book asap to avoid not being able to go on the best trip you’ll ever go on.
This year we are offering 2 memberships. Our standard membership grants you access to all the chill factore trips across the year and also priority booking for the ski trip in April 2024. Our other and new membership this year is our social membership, this membership allows you to join us on our weekly Wednesday socials and still be part of the team.
If we haven’t sold you on the club from this small description, you should come and experience it for yourself and see how much fun it is in person. You don’t want to miss out!

Every year our clubs and societies elect a new team of students to take their group into the new academic year. Being on a committee is a great way to become more involved with the community at UCLan, meet new friends and develop new and existing skills for your CV. Anyone can be on a committee, as long as you are a member of your club or society. Students that are elected onto a committee through this election will start their role on 1st August 2024 until 31st July 2025. Could you be the next leader of your club or society?
