As a club we are very ambitious and we want to build on the success we have had in previous years.
Training is on a Monday night from 7:00pm-9:00pm at Preston GrassHoppers.
We have 1 team competing in the BUCS Leagues in 23-24 and home fixtures are played on Wednesdays at Preston GrassHoopers.
If you are looking to play weekend rugby or receive extra training, the club has strong links with Preston Grasshoppers and Fylde RFC and players are always welcome to join the ranks. Signing up to the Rugby Union Club at UCLan is a fantastic way to make friends, meet new people and have a laugh.
With the club being very social , you won't struggle to make friends at University and we welcome players of all levels and ability. Our Committee and coaches will train you to play even if you have never held a ball before.

Every year our Student Groups elect a new team of students to take their group into the new academic year. Being on a committee is a great way to become more involved with the community at UCLan, meet new friends and develop new and existing skills for your CV. Anyone can be on a committee, as long as you are a member of your Student Group. Students that are elected onto a committee through this election will start their role on 1st August 2024 until 31st July 2025. Could you be the next leader of your Student Group?
