Hi everyone!
We are the UCLan Sharks! Aka, the UCLan dance club, and we would LOVE to welcome you to the family.
We run a variety of classes throughout the year, for all abilities. No previous dancing experience is required, we encourage anyone & everyone to come and give it a go! Classes include Lyrical, Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Heels and a few alternative styles. All of our classes have an amazing, friendly atmosphere where you can make friends for life, work on your dance technique, and make loads of amazing memories.
We also have our very own competition teams which represent UCLan on a national level, and always take up any opportunity to perform. Most recently, in the 2023 comp season, we visited Leeds and Lancaster and won many awards at both! Our competitions give the best chance to spend a great day with the whole club, travelling to some great Uni's and seeing some outstanding performances with the best group of people always leads to the making of lifelong memories and hysterical laughs.
As much as we love to dance, we also love to socialise just as much! We hold regular social events which may include quiz nights, cosy nights in, crazy nights out, a LOT of karaoke, and so much more to come! We will also be collaborating with other sports teams to join forces and go out as a bigger group!
So if you love to perform, make new friends, learn a new skill, develop an old skill, or even just come for a laugh and some fun, GET INVOLVED!!!
