We are UCLan SU Chinese Society. Above is our society committee members’ welcome video, please check it for our best and warmest welcome to all of you!
Our society is aimed to promote Chinese culture and help Chinese students in UCLan. We sincerely hope that we can enrich our society member’s daily life by holding events and promote the culture exchange among different societies. Our society is open to all the students in UCLan and if you are interested in Chinese culture or language, please join us!!
In 2019/2020, our society successfully hold many events such as Freshers’ Party, Singing Competition, Halloween Alton Tower Day Trip, Christmas Event and, the biggest and best of the year, Chinese New Year Gala. We also had closed relationships with many other societies in UCLan and cooperated together for activities. We had our society member meeting monthly and our committee meeting every week to discuss future events and plan.
We were awarded the title of wonderful for the Academic Year 2019/2020 – Societies Scoreboard and ranked in the third position. Big thanks to everyone and we will keep going on this year to give you an even better experience!
As a member of UCLan SU Chinese society, you will be provided with a handbook for freshers (written in Mandarin) and our membership card. You will also enjoy all the discounts for many local shops and restaurants which we have corporation with and the lowest prices for all our events.
