The Basketball Club is one of the most successful clubs here at UCLan.
We have sessions opened to anyone whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player. We have two men's Teams and one Women's Team who compete in the BUCS Leagues and we deliver recreational basketball sessions throughout the year.
The seperate membership fees reflect the amount of training time available for the Men's Team.

Every year our clubs and societies elect a new team of students to take their group into the new academic year. Being on a committee is a great way to become more involved with the community at UCLan, meet new friends and develop new and existing skills for your CV. Anyone can be on a committee, as long as you are a member of your club or society. Students that are elected onto a committee through this election will start their role on 1st August 2024 until 31st July 2025. Could you be the next leader of your club or society?
