Originally formed in 2020 as Fylde Road FC, the team has been through a few changes over the couple of years and was rebooted at 'UCLan Fylde Road AFC' in 2022. (This is why you might find a couple of different social media accounts for the club) The 2022/23 Season ended on a high when we won the SU Europa Cup and hope to build on that in 23/24. We are a friendly bunch who welcome all abilities.

Every year our Student Groups elect a new team of students to take their group into the new academic year. Being on a committee is a great way to become more involved with the community at UCLan, meet new friends and develop new and existing skills for your CV. Anyone can be on a committee, as long as you are a member of your Student Group. Students that are elected onto a committee through this election will start their role on 1st August 2024 until 31st July 2025. Could you be the next leader of your Student Group? Please note this is the final opportunity to become a Student Group committee member for this academic year.
