Our aim is to create a supportive environment where you can flourish in your studies. By joining us, you will have access to our network of students, professionals, academics, and researchers, providing you with valuable support and networking opportunities during and after your degree. We host weekly and monthly meetups, ranging from local gatherings to mental health awareness events and networking opportunities in neighbouring cities. By participating in our society, you will have the opportunity to acquire new skills, make valuable contacts, and forge meaningful friendships with like-minded individuals. Every year our Student Groups elect a new team of students to take their group into the new academic year. Being on a committee is a great way to become more involved with the community at UCLan, meet new friends and develop new and existing skills for your CV. Anyone can be on a committee, as long as you are a member of your Student Group. Students that are elected onto a committee through this election will start their role on 1st August 2024 until 31st July 2025. Could you be the next leader of your Student Group?
