Your Big Ideas

Do you have an Idea about how to make the Union, University or the wider community better for students?

Why not submit it through our website! All Ideas submitted run for a total of 28 days and after this period those that achieve at least 50 votes with a majority in favour will be taken forward; this could be to an appropriate meeting such as Students’ Council for discussion or by meeting with the appropriate person(s) responsible to work with you on making your Idea a reality!

Top Tips…

  • Identify the issue you are going to solve.
  • Build up an understanding of the issue; do your research and talk to others.
  • Share an understanding of how the issue affects students.
  • Set out what you think should be done to fix the issue and how you’ll know when it is fixed.
  • Officers and Staff are here to help so don’t hesitate getting touch to talk through your Idea.
