UCLan Students’ Union exists to make life better for students and we will always put students at the heart of the Union.
Our values are about what we believe, and they shape how we act. They guide us as we empower students to take the opportunities that The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) offers; be inspired, succeed and achieve their goals.
Put simply:
- We are independent, and we always support students It’s a strength that we are an open, democratic organisation led by students
- We want all students to play their part in the Union as we create a safe, inclusive Union and campus
- We all work together
Every student at The University of Central Lancashire is automatically a member of UCLan Students’ Union, regardless of which campus they’re studying on.
From the Course Reps and School Presidents who help shape teaching and learning, or the Advice Centre which supports thousands of students each year, to the Sports Clubs and Societies who provide an opportunity for students to connect and feel part of the student community – your student experience matters to us.
