All UCLan students are invited to get involved in one or more of our many student led groups. Joining a Sports Club, Society or taking part in Volunteering activities is a great way to make new friends, learn new skills and be a part of the UCLan Students’ Union community.

Societies
At UCLan Students’ Union, we have over 150 Sports, Societies and other Volunteering opportunities for all students to get involved with. Check out our full list of student led groups here.

There's lots of amazing Society's with students from across the globe. Whether it's connecting people from your own country or culture, or exploring another - Societies are a great way to feel part of a community and have a home away from home. Our student groups put on lots of great activities and social events you'll be able to attend to make friends and have fun.

If you’re a student at The University of Central Lancashire, you’re automatically a member of UCLan Students’ Union, which means you can start taking advantage of the benefits of being a member straight away.

Oasis Centre
The Oasis Faith and Spirituality Centre exists to encourage people in the pursuit and development of their faith, and to promote the understanding and respect of different faiths. It also offers a neutral space where the chaplaincy team offer pastoral and spiritual support for all, whether you have a faith allegiance or not.

No attempt is made to ‘convert’ people to a particular way of thinking or believing. Every effort is made to encourage people on their individual spiritual journeys.

The Oasis centre can offer advice and information about religious groups within the University, and places of worship in the Preston area.

The centre has a coffee lounge open every day during term where you can make yourself a hot drink, meet others and relax. There are also rooms for prayer, meditation, reading and quiet reflection.

Saturday Online Group Rosary
5th October 9am - 26th October 9:30am
The month of October is dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary in the Catholic Church. This is because the liturgical feast of Our Lady of the Rosary is celebrated on October 7th. Every Saturday of October at 9am we will do an online group rosary.
