Man Down - Men's Mental Health

Man Down

Man Down is campaign dedicated to improving men’s mental health.

Created by the elected Male Students’ Representative, the Man Down campaign wants to reassure men that it’s ok to ask for help and help raise awareness of how we can support the men in our lives.

If you or someone you know is experiencing suicidal thoughts, it’s important that you tell someone about them and get help. In an emergency, always call 999.

However you (or your friend, family, or colleague) feeling right now, you’re never alone. It might not feel that way but whatever situation you’re in – there’s always a way forward.

Are you worried because your mate is acting differently?

  1. Make conversation
  2. Ask them how they feel
  3. Listen and be patient
  4. Reassure them
  5. Direct them to get help

End the cycle, have the mental health conversation.
