These are short updates about where I am at with each manifesto aim :) 

Support for Societies and Clubs - Last updated 11/12/23

• We had a great turnout for committee training in September, everybody seemed engaged and loved our Disability Rep, Rainbow, training the committees on Disability Awareness Training 
• We have created a Teams channel for all committee members so there is a streamlined way of communication between staff and students. 
• As a Union, we are currently changing all of our Bye-laws (aka rules) and articles of association, meaning I am working on making rules around clubs and societies a lot easier for students (and myself!) to understand and follow.
  • This will be things like the code of conduct for societies and clubs, a clearer outline of how committees manage their societies, and it will be as jargon-free as possible!
