This year, we experienced our first (and hopefully only!) online Students’ Union election. We are so proud of the hard work and dedication every candidate put into their campaigning- we know it’s been difficult to reach other students online, and you all did your absolute best to spread the word and get those votes!
With a voter turnout of 2,188, we’re impressed with all the students who made their voice heard this year. We understand it’s been a difficult year and to have only experienced an online Students’ Union, but we’re excited to see what our new team of representatives can do for you next year!
Thanks to your outgoing VP Activities Sophie and VP Education Steph for their hard work throughout the Election. On Thursday, this dynamic duo even went live singing classic pop tunes on Facebook for the cause - now that’s what we call dedication!
