We’re getting ready to re-launch the School’s Cup this September and we want your help choosing which sports to play!

What is the School’s Cup you ask?

As part of our social sports offering, the School’s Cup is our casual competition where teams from schools across the University compete against each other to score points for their school. We’re aiming to put on multiple events throughout the year that we hope many of you will either play in or come to cheer on your school.

The school that scores the most points across the games will be named the 2024 School's Cup Champions!

Taking part in the School's Cup is completely casual, which means you can drop in and out of playing for your school, you can play in every event or if you’re a fan of one particular sport, you can just take part in that one!

Before we start the School’s Cup up again, we need to figure out what sports we want to offer, and that’s where you come in! We want you, the students, to play a part in this and choose which sports you want to compete in. We’ve got a list of 14 potential sports that we need narrowing down to 8 that we can offer.

  • Badminton
  • Basketball
  • Dodgeball
  • Football
  • Futsal
  • 5 a Side/ 7 a side
  • Handball
  • Hockey
  • Netball
  • Pool
  • Rounders
  • Rugby
  • Table Tennis
  • Volleyball

Follow this link to vote for the sports you want to see played in the School’s Cup, once we’ve received all votes, we can determine which sports we’ll be able to offer and get the competition going!
