Hopefully by now you should have received some information and an activation email from Unitu, a student voice platform that is new to UCLan this year. At the Students’ Union we are really excited about Unitu and how it will be able to help support and empower you to have a say about your experience at UCLan.

What is Unitu and how do I use it?
Unitu is a new feedback platform that UCLan have where you can raise feedback, questions and praise at any time of the day.

When you raise a point on Unitu, it first goes into a private feedback area where only students, Course Reps, and School Presidents can see the post. When it is raised, a Course Rep or School President has 3 days to either close or move your post into the public feedback area.

The public feedback area is visible to all students and staff. This gives the lecturers the chance to respond to your feedback within 5 working days.

Why should I use it?
This platform will allow you to get quicker responses to your feedback! Unitu will help to improve your University experience by ensuring your voice heard, and positive change is made.

Once posts have been resolved by staff, it will be moved into the ‘together we changed column’- you can keep track of all the amazing work you, Course Reps, and staff are doing throughout the year to make your experience the best it can be.
