At UCLAN medical centre we aim to support students with all their sexual and contraceptive needs. The Sexual Health nurse is available 8.30-4.30 Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Appointment times as follows:

Sexual Health Appointments for asymptomatic screening available on Mon /Tues/Wed 8.30-11am ( by appointment only ) Routine screening for: Chlamydia Gonorrhoea HIV Syphilis Hepatitis screening if appropriate . We also offer home testing kits for chlamydia and gonorrhoea that can be picked up from the medical centre waiting area during opening hours (no appointment necessary).

All forms of Contraception are offered free of charge . These include: Oral contraception Contraceptive injection(depoprovera) Subdermal implants Contraceptive patch and ring Intrauterine contraception(coils )- limited availability at main branch.

We also offer cervical screening for those eligible to attend Contraceptive and cervical screening appointments both face to face and telephone are available 8.30-4.30 Mon, Tues, Wed.
