Customer Service Assistant

Application deadline: 6th August

Induction: 1st September

Role Start Date: 6thSeptember

Salary: £8.36 per hour + holiday pay or £8.91 per hour + holiday pay for age 23 and over

Role Description: Service Assistants will be selected to work for the Café and Shop in a customer facing role across both outlets and will also be required to work across the Students’ Union for other events, as the calendar requires.

Customer Service Assistant

Department: Welcome Point/Student Centre

Application deadline: Monday 23rd August 9am

Salary: £8.36 per hour + holiday pay or £8.91 per hour + holiday pay for age 23 and over

Role Description: We are the first point of call for students, visitors, and staff. This is a fast-paced administrative environment where providing excellent service is key.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, with a positive, service-oriented, can-do attitude. Able to work independently as well as in a team and have a pro-active approach to troubleshooting and problem solving.

The role will start in September therefore you will need to be a student in the next academic year 2021-22, Mandatory training will take place on Wednesday 15th September

Hours: Monday-Friday, shifts depending on availability 5-10 hours per week term-time.
