Dr Megan Steward, BSc MBChB DipIBLM MRCGP(2023)
Megan graduated from the University of St Andrews in 2010, and obtained her MBChB from the University of Manchester in 2013. After spending some time working in hospital medicine, she decided to train to become a GP and now works in Bolton. She developed a keen interest in lifestyle medicine after working in an area with a high prevalence of chronic disease. She became the Manchester Regional lead in 2019 and completed the IBLM Diploma in 2020. Locally she delivers menopause related workshops, and co-ordinates educational events for healthcare professionals in the Manchester region focusing on the 6 pillars of health. Megan enjoys spending time with her young family in nature, travelling and has a regular yoga practice.
