The Marxist theory of history is fundamental to understanding our world outlook and perspectives - therefore, we'll be holding a meeting discussing how history works and what laws it conforms to.
In order to understand where we are and where we're going, we need to understand where we've come from. This means we need to understand history and its developments.
As Marxists, we view history in a materialist way, explaining that it is not random, musical, or determined purely by the actions of individuals (of 'Great Men'), but rather must act in certain ways and conform to certain laws and general movements. However, we also do not view history as rigid or all historical developments as inevitable.
The question of humanity's development - and therefore its future - is a complex one, which we hope to discuss with others who want to learn more and get a better understanding of where our society currently finds itself in the grand scheme of history.
