The Oncology Societies of the University of Manchester, University of Central Lancashire, Lancaster University, Unicersity of Liverpool and University of Leeds are excited to collaborate on hosting the National Undergraduate Oncology Conference.
NUOC NORTHWEST
The purpose of NUOC Northwest 2025 is to bring together students from across the UK to reflect on the progress made in cancer care and appreciate how national and international collaboration has propelled this change in new treatments, discoveries, and practice guidelines.
CONFERENCE AIMS
- Highlight the importance of collaboration in scientific research, including patient-clinician partnerships
- Bring awareness to the translation of clinical research to clinical care
- Foster excitement and motivation to engage with research and oncology
- Provide opportunities for networking with leading academics and clinicians working in oncology
- Make in-person networking within oncology more accessible as medical students
