The Students Union will be hosting a number of Welcome Meals over the welcome period to give new students a chance to meet others and provide an introduction to the SU.

These meals are free to all but we do have a limited number of tickets so please book early to avoid disappointment. You will be able to choose to attend one of our Welcome meals that are happening over the Welcome Period. All Meals will start at 7pm and alongside the food we will have some light refreshments available. All Meals to take place on the 1st floor of the Students Union Building.

 

Friday 24th September- International Students Welcome Meal

This meal will take place before the main welcome activities start and is aimed at international students that have already arrived and provides an opportunity to meet other International Students to form connections that will support you during your time at UCLan.

Lancashire Hot Pot (both Lamb and Vegetarian) with some cakes and treats from the local area.

 

Monday 27th September- Introduction to Lancashire Welcome Meal

Following on from our freshers fair on the Student Square this meal will not only give you a chance to meet other students but also will give you the opportunity to sample some of the local cuisine from the Lancashire Area.

Lancashire Hot Pot (both Lamb and Vegetarian) with some cakes and treats from the local area.

 

Wednesday 29th September- Halal Welcome Meal

The SU is committed to providing a varied catering offer to fulfil the needs of all students at UCLan so we will be hosting an Fully Halal meal prepared by local caterers.

Chicken Biryani, Veg Pakora & Meat Samosa.

 

Friday 1st October- Mexican Meal

This will be our last meal of Welcome week and give you the opportunity to meet other new students to form connections that will support you during your time at UCLan.

 

Chilli Con Carne and 3 bean chilli with rice & Nachos.
