Need a break for your work ? Come and upcycle a glass from our great donate project.
The Great Donate is an initiative to make better use of common household items traditionally thrown away by students when they leave university, by saving them for new and returning students. Not only does this prevent them from ending up in landfill, but it means students don’t have to spend large chunks of their student loan buying new household equipment when they arrive at UCLan. All money spent with the great donate goes back into SU projects that help students with the cost of living crisis.
We run sessions to upcycle donated drinking glasses using acrylic paint pens to make them more applying and more likely to be bought. You are also welcome to buy the glass you decorate on the day.
Designs can be super fancy or beautiful and basic !
