Hi, I'm Leonie, and I believe that I should be this year's Vice Chair/Captain for UCLan Tigers.
I have really loved doing cheer since my first ever time trying it in my first year of uni, which this year will be my 4th year as a Tiger! I felt so welcomed into the Tigers family when I first joined, and since then I have made forever friends that have made my uni experience so much more amazing! I have been involved with lots of aspects of the club over my time in the team, such as being last year's fundraiser and also helping out with the socials when needed, helping with open days, and going out on socials with the team.
I look forward to training every week, and I hope to help be a part of creating the same environment for the upcoming freshers joining, and of course doing the same for the returners. I would say I'm a very friendly person, and easy to approach for anything. I will do my best to motivate the team as much as possible, as well as doing what I can to ensure the morale of the team stays high throughout the season :)
