Arman Arya

Hello! My name is Arman Arya, a Fourth-year MBBS student from Canada.

I’m running as the chair of the Radiology Society because I believe that I have what it takes. I have always been interested in radiology and I am considering specializing in this field post-graduation.

I studied Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging as a part of my undergraduate studies where I learned about radiology and its different areas of practice. So, I am highly familiar with different imaging modalities such as Nuclear medicine, CT, and MRI.

Also, I am very reliable and work well in collaboration in large groups. I am honoured to have served as the President of multiple medical societies at UCLan. These excellent opportunities helped me to obtain first-hand experience in teamwork and leadership.

If elected, I will arrange monthly lectures with experts in radiology to introduce students to this speciality and the different diagnostic imaging types available. In addition, I will run discussion talks to review the latest clinical research articles in radiology. All of this will help students to learn more about radiology and hopefully consider it as a future career option.

I hope you can see how much I can bring to the table as the chair. I am always ready to go above and beyond to contribute to the medical students’ community and help my future colleagues.

I appreciate your vote for me, Arman Arya, to serve as the chair of the Radiology Society.
