I am delighted to nominate myself for the position of Treasurer, equipped with valuable experience gained from serving in a similar capacity at another university. During my time as Treasurer at University of Essex, I had the privilege of overseeing the financial affairs of our society with diligence and dedication. In this role, I successfully managed budgets, tracked expenses, and ensured compliance with university policies and regulations. Drawing upon the lessons learned and skills acquired during my previous role, I am well-prepared to fulfill the responsibilities of Treasurer at UCLan's Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society.

Aims:

 

  • Implement a transparent budgeting process to clearly outline income, expenses, and allocations for each academic year.
  • Regularly update members on the financial status of the society through during general meetings.
  • Work closely with the executive committee to develop a realistic budget that aligns with the society's objectives and priorities.
  • Explore creative fundraising ideas to supplement our budget and enhance our financial sustainability.

  • Maintain open communication on finances, ensuring members are informed and engaged in financial decisions that impact the society.
