Avantika Bejoy

Hello! I'm Avantika, a fourth-year medical student, and I'm looking forward to run for Vice Chair. Having gone through almost four years I have been able to enjoy and take part in various medsoc events. Now, I aim to bring your ideas to life and ensure that every member has the best experience possible.

As Vice Chair, I want to be someone you can rely on for advice, support, or just a listening ear, regardless of which year you are in.

I am committed to making annual events like International Night, the Medical Ball and more, unforgettable experiences for all of you. Moreover, I aspire to support your academic journey, whether it's providing resources, study groups, or mentorship opportunities. In addition, I believe in the power of collaboration. Being a part of other medical societies and a national organisation (In2Med), I aim to bring you a diverse range of events and opportunities that cater to your interests to help you build meaningful connections.

But most importantly, I want to make your university experience fun and memorable with the support of the Medical Society. If elected, I promise to do my utmost and am always open to your suggestions, ensuring that everyone has a chance to be involved and have a say. I'm the type to persevere and never give up, so alongside the team, I will ensure that you feel heard, involved and most importantly, have a great time.
