Dear Memebers of the surgical society,
- I Will Use My Experience: I am a qualified operating department practitioner and have been working in surgery as a surgical assistant, I have a great surgical insights. I have worked in few different surgical specialities which includes orthopaedics, general vascular and colorectal and I will use this knowledge to create events that are educational and relevant for everyone.
- I Will Build Connections: I aim to organize events that help us connect with fellow students, professionals, and alumni. I will use my contacts with many surgeons who can come and share their real-world experiences with us.
- I Will Look After Our Well-being: Knowing how intense studying medicine can be, I will plan fun and relaxing events to help us unwind and maintain our mental health.
- I Will Listen and Collaborate: I believe that the best events come from listening to everyone's ideas. I will make sure all voices are heard and that we work together to make our society even better.
- I Will Expand: I am committed to building upon what our society already does well by adding more diverse and fun events. I will share my experiences to help others see different aspects of surgical life, and I hope to inspire and educate through these stories.
finally, I am dedicated to using my experience and connections to enhance our Surgical Society, making it a more inclusive, supportive, and educational community for all members.
