Dear Members of the Anaesthetic Society,
It is with great enthusiasm and dedication that I present my manifesto for the role of Social Secretary. As a passionate advocate for fostering a vibrant and inclusive community within our society, I pledge to uphold the following principles and initiatives:
1) I will create events that are diverse and inclusive as I believe this takes into the interests of the members as we all have differing backgrounds and interests.
2) I will organise events that faciliate networking. For example, with other societies, alumni and mentorship programmes.
3) I will organise events that take into account the stressful nature of studying medicine. I will organise wellbeing sessions in a fun way.
4) I will listen to ideas and take recommendations from others within the society and work collaboratively so that we get the most out of our social events!
In conclusion, I am a committed to becoming a proactive social secretary and work to create a supportive environment.
