Hi! I'm Ben and as some of you may be aware, I'm the current VetSoc Vice President. Despite the efforts of the committee this year, it seems we didn't manage to grab your attentions the way we would have really liked! My goal as VetSoc President for the coming year is to really focus on listening to our members, to give them what they really want! I'm aware that students outside of the BVMS had felt excluded and neglected and this frustrates me. With the help of my social sec, I'd like to see regular, inclusive, socials ranging from Wednesday nights out, to social sports competitions, BBQ's by the beach, and of course a big end of year ball (for everyone!) I have already personally raised £1000 of sponsorship for the VetSoc and brought on board some useful partners, including one that offers all our members 10% off scrubs and similar items! I see my role as the VetSoc President as one that can form a coherent committee and ensure fluency and frequency in our plans and events, and ultimately give our members something to join for!! Including branded half zip fleeces, but we can talk about that one later...
