Hello, my name is Aqsa, and I am running for the position for Head Sister position for the Islamic Society. I am passionate about making an impact and making the university a better place for sisters.
My vision is to create to inclusive, supportive, and engaging environment where every student sister feels valued and empowered to reach their full potential.
My goals are to ensure that all student voices are heard, and their ideas are considered in decision-making processes. I will also work towards improving communication between students, administration, and teachers. I will also organise events and invitations aimed at university spirit and unity. I will advocate for resources and programmes that support the mental and physical wellbeing for students.
I am committed to serving the university and our sisterhood community with dedication, integrity, and empathy. I promise to listen to your concerns, represent your interests and work tirelessly to make the university a better place.
