Hello again! I'm about to go into the last year of my photography masters at uclan, and have been the vice chair of UMC for the last two years (and was a club member for two years before that), so reckon I can say I'm pretty committed to the club and have a good understanding of the way things work and what needs to be improved for next year. I'm really excited to hopefully get lots of new members next year and some keen new people on the committee, i'll use all my previous experience with the club to take a more 'behind the scenes' role and help teach the new committee all they need to know and make UMC the best it's ever been next year.
As treasurer my more specific role will be sorting the club money, so will try my best to make everything as affordable and low-cost as possible, this will range from membership price, to trips, socials and UMC merch etc. I will make sure that members have more say in where the club money is being spent and what you want it used for, as ultimately it's your money and uni experience that we want to make the most enjoyable and well spent.
