PAST EXPERIENCES AS A LEADER:
I am pleased to have founded the British Red Cross Society and was able to successfully run 4 successful events with a team of enthusiastic individuals.
I would like to continue my journey as chair of this society and I am as enthusiastic as I was when creating this society!
Already we have:
- Made a group of volunteers ready to uphold the BRC values
- Raised 169.70 pounds from our Bake Sale
- Ran our first ever BLS training event
- Recruited 17 students to the NHS Blood Donation services!
These were just the events we had planned in our Westlakes Campus with a small cohort!
I would like to continue to expand our events to the Preston Campus with collaborations with other societies, The British Red Cross Charity Shop and team in Preston to hold larger events such as fundraising marathons and more!
