When I joined the Entrepreneurial Society as a first-year, I felt like I had found my place among like-minded people. From that moment on, I absorbed every word from our incredible guest speakers, scribbled down notes on napkins during networking sessions, and even took the plunge to start my own business in the same year.
But my experience was more than just about the business side of things. It was about developing connections, building friendships, and receiving support from both students and amazing guest speakers. The Entrepreneurial Society provided me with an incredible platform for growth as an entrepreneur and an individual.
Now, as a candidate for chair, my primary goal is to give back to the society that has given me so much. I am confident in my ability to provide valuable knowledge, create opportunities for networking with other self-starters, and organise fun events that will empower everyone. Together, we'll learn from inspiring guest speakers, make meaningful connections, participate in activities that boost confidence and have a blast at our social gatherings.
