Currently the club’s activities, beyond the usual shooting, are scarce and not always accessible to everyone. As social secretary I would use my previous experience as Social Secretary/Chair of the LGBTQ+ Society to bring more social activities to the group at a a variety of price points. These may include (depending on interest and approval from the rest of the committee):
Free Nights:
Jackbox or board games (which could even be online over summer), to
Mid-Priced Events:
Meals, bowling, and escape rooms.
Yearly Events
That are more expensive and have lots of notice and time to save such as Go-Karting or Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
There will, of course, also be themed shoots throughout the year which are always great fun, as those who shot the confetti balloons on Valentine’s Day will surely attest! The point is to allow more people to get involved, raise some money for the club, and to have fun with each other!
