My name's Terezia and I'm running for the position of Chair for the upcoming academic year.
A little bit about me, I'm currently studying Architecture here at UCLan and I've been a member of this team for nearly 2 years with it becoming a massive part of my life at university. I have met some incredible people and made memories I’ll never forget, from Wednesday socials to playing alongside everyone each week!
Joining this team has opened my eyes to a whole different community, which I wasn't hugely aware of prior to coming to university. And has allowed me to thrive as a person in so many ways, as well as realising my dedication to rugby as a university player and later with Hoppers.
As Chair, I would love to take on a role that would allow me to contribute to the teams development and be a voice for everyone. If elected, I'll ensure that I will:
• Lead the club and ultimately be responsible for the function and development of the team with everyone's best interest in mind.
• Relay information to and from the student union, whilst making positive changes in response to feedback.
• Offer support and advice to everyone on the team including other committee members.
• Ensure smooth running of the team, taking responsibility for any events and meetings organised, as well as build on relationships with other clubs.
