Hello, my name is Adam Azzam,
I am currently a 1st year student studying Aerospace Engineering. I am a passionate climber that loves power and overhang and at the time of typing a V5/6c climber. I like a good challenge and to push myself beyond limits, that could be a harder climb or a long hike up a mountain. My favourite thing I've done with the UMC is summiting Ben Nevis during the winter February 2023, definitely an amazing milestone to reach. I loved it because of the challenge, there was snow everywhere, you couldn’t see more than 15m in front of you and it was negative 16 degrees. It was awesome.
I believe I would make a wonderful social secretary as I get along with people quickly and I have an energetic personality. I will make sure we will have a social as often as is reasonable and ensure that everyone is involved and having a fun time as being social is just as important as everything else.
