Hi everyone, I am Leha Mahesh Kumar (Leha) and I am running for Outreach Coordinator of the NeuroSoc Committee. The brain holds a million mysteries and no one's been able to fully comprehend it. I take keen interest in understanding the intricacies of it and I want to begin my journey by working and contributing to the NeuroSoc.
The following are what I plan on doing if elected as the Outreach Coordinator:
- Organise events, conferences, and workshops with other universities and faculty members where you can gain hands-on experience
- Networking spaces for like-minded individuals interested in Neurosurgery/ Neurology
- Run fundraisers for neuro-related research such as Alzheimer's and other neurodegenerative conditions
- Encourage passionate individuals to do research in the field of neuro
- Help build CV/ portfolio by conducting talks from peers and experienced individuals
