After being in dance club for my first year at UCLan, I would love to have the opportunity to be a member of the committee in my second year to support the club alongside the other committee members. Treasurer is a role that I believe would best suit me, with being a fundraising commissioner for my scout group back home I am use to working with and handling funding for a club and having the responsibility of ensuring specific payments are arranged and made, not only this but I am also a friendly, bubbly and approachable individual who could be approached by members of the club with any questions, queries or support that is needed and I would support members with anything that I can but also just be a supportive team mate with members of the club. One thing I have really enjoyed about being a part of dance club is the friends that I have made and the memories that I have made with them especially on socials and at competitions like the coach karaoke. With being a sociable person, I have very strong communication skills so will be able to keep great communication between myself, the rest of the committee, the members of dance club and the Student Union to ensure all information gets shared with the right people and everyone is up to date with information that they require.
