Hi I'm Kimberly, a 3rd year medical student!
I'm running for chair of the Anaesthesia & ICU society because I'd love to have a group up and running that fosters and hones the interests and skills of students who are interested in anaesthesia and/or ICU medicine, or would like to pursue a career in these fields.
My main goal for the society is to develop the professional and research skills of the members. Therefore, most of the events in the society would include or revolve around things such as attending anaesthesia conferences, writing academic papers, practicing clinical skills, career & portfolio development, and learning about new advancements in anaesthesia and critical care medicine.
I'd also value the input of the rest of the members regarding innovation in and improvement of the society, so that we can work collaboratively to get the most out of the society.
So with that being said, I'd be really grateful for your vote so that we can do great things with the anaesthesia & ICU society in the upcoming year and beyond!
