Your group has affiliated with the Students’ Union for the current academic year.

Mandatory Training Badge

At least 50% of your committee members have completed all four mandatory training modules.

Clear Contacts Badge

Up to date contact details are displayed on the Club or Society SU Webpage.

To earn your Bronze Badge, complete at least 5 of these 7 badges:

Freshers’ Friendly Badge

Your student group has engaged with students during the main welcome week periods (Sept-Oct or January) via an event or stall.

Starter Membership Badge

Starter Membership Badge

Your group has 10 or more members.

Rookie GM Badge

Rookie Meeting Badge

At least one member of the committee has attended any Students’ Union Meeting this academic year, such as but not limited to a feedback forum, Student Council & Annual General Meeting / Big Union Meeting

Development Badge

Development Badge

Host at least five or more events, which were approved by the Students’ Union via the Activities Dashboard and uploaded onto the website via Events.

Training Badge

Extra Training Badge

Have one or more members complete extra training in mental health, neurodivergence, or disability awareness.

Volunteer Starter Badge

Volunteer Starter Badge

All committee members have signed up to volunteering and have started to log hours on our website.

SU Advocate Badge

SU Advocate Badge

Your group has held an event in any of the bookable Students’ Union spaces.

Silver Badges

To level up to Silver, complete at least 5 of these 7 badges, along with the Bronze Badge:

Your group has held ten or more events, which were approved by the Students’ Union via the Activities Dashboard and uploaded into the website via Events.

Inclusivity Badge

Your group has held at least two events that were alcohol-free and advertised through the Students’ Union website.

Your group has held at least two events where the venue and activities were disability friendly and advertised through the Students’ Union website.

Your group has submitted a piece of content to our Comms Team by tagging @uclansu on social media.

Your group has 20 or more members.

Your group has held an event in an alternative UCLan campus.

Sustainability Aware Badge

One or more of the following options apply to this badge. 1. Your has demonstrated a sustainable change in the day-to-day running of their society. 2.They have held a sustainability event or launched an initiative. 3. Committee members have taken part in a union, university, or community initiative around sustainability.

Your group has 50 or more members.

Sports Superstar Badge

Sports Superstars Badge

Your group has won at least three sporting matches or competitions against another campus.
