The SUL is BACK after the Christmas break with the 11, 7 and 5-a-side all returning.
In the 5-a-side we start afresh after ‘UCLan Strikers’ were victorious in the Semester One competition. Representing the Men’s Futsal & Small Sided club are ‘Flod City’ and ‘Forresters Arms’ and Roeburn Rovers return. Joining them are new teams ‘Kexgill FC’ and ‘Athletico de UCLan’
The 11-a-side League continues after finishing semester one with the Divisional Christmas Cups which were won by ‘Entrenadores FC’ of the Premier Division and the Championship’s ‘Red Rose United’. Some new teams have entered for semester two to add to the mix. ‘UCLan FC 6th XI’ and ‘Macclesfield International U19 XI’ come into the Prem whilst Athletico add themselves to the Championship ranks.
For Saturday football, the 7-a-side league will return at the end of the month with games taking place every other week.
This semester will also see our inaugural SUL Pool Competition on 1st March to be held at Roper Hall. Entry is Free, just contact us to enter!
