Connect with your SAC
The Student Affairs Committee (SAC) is here to ensure all students at UCLan are represented in the Union, The University and the Community whilst also enhancing the student experience as a whole. Many of the SAC team engage with the University staff on your behalf whilst also ensuring that we’re getting better deals from local business and linking with the National Union of Students in order to better facilitate for your journey as a student.
Our roles are elected positions, elections which take place every year, and therefore we have a legitimate voice for all students within the university and local community on any matter that concerns students.
This year we will be holding a big vote to ensure that everything we do has been steered by the students. At the same time we will be working with Course/School Reps to make your education better and will facilitate ‘Zones’ where you can come and debate issues concerning the areas of Your Union, University and Community.
Please make sure that you contact any of the SAC members that could answer your queries and never hesitate to come and see us.
