Source Bar’s Chilli Summer Adventures
The summer was long and eventful for us at Source.
So many of you were forced into an involuntary boycott of our premises as you returned home for the summer to enjoy some much needed home cooked meals after living off pub lunches and takeaways for far too long.
To combat this boredom, certain members of the Source management team turned their attentions to creating the world’s hottest Flatliner. Unfortunately these attempts were ultimately ditched when our decision to add The Source: Hot Sauce to the recipe resulted in the near death of Keron Knight, this year’s Media Officer. After KK’s recovery we decided to focus our efforts elsewhere, and came up with two brand new oral inferno products.
First to rise from the flames was Source’s very own FireWater Vodka. Created by adding just a few drops of the world’s hottest food additive to a bottle of Smirnoff Vodka and tested by the Source MAN-agement team. A truly deep burn, and a must for any birthday! Yours to try for only £2!
As we had spent far too much time trying to drink the world’s hottest “food” additive we thought it might be novel to work out how best to eat it too! So off we popped to Essentials where we invested in some already quite spicy BBQ sauce, and gave it a good, hard kick... Thus, Hot Source was born. Here’s a warning thought – Hot Sauce is not for the fainthearted. The chilli extract we use to create it rates at 7.1 million on the Scoville scale – to give you some perspective Tabasco is only 5000. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!
