Eyes down and look in for the Inspired Idea of Student Bingo!
Providing an alternative night for students the popularity of this night was huge, with more than 170 students attending the last Bingo Night.
Student Bingo was a brand new event for students that doesn’t involve the same repetitive nights out.
Three rounds of Bingo were played on the night, with the opportunity to win prizes such as gig tickets, a Nintendo Wii, an iPod and a driving experience day.
Organised by two students, Stephen Lawrence and Cal Watt, the Bingo Night was largely self funded with assistance from the Inspired Ideas grant to help cover expenses like venue hire, promotional materials, bingo cards and extra staff.
Feedback from students who attended was massively positive, with the night being described as “great”, “brilliant” and “exceeded expectations”. In fact the event has proved so popular some societies are already planning on using the next Student Bingo as a social and pre-booking a table.
