Be a Champion Accreditation
We've received a Bronze accreditation for our work supporting the London 2012 Games through NUS.
The accreditation rewards and recognises the commitment and effort shown by students’ unions in creating an environment for Games inspired activity to flourish.
Be a Champion is about making sure that you as a student can make the most of the once in a life time opportunity that the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games presents. Whether you’re passionate about sport, love your art and culture or dedicated to spreading the message about creating a sustainable environment there are opportunities to suit everyone. We want you to find something that suits you and you’re passions.
The Be a Champion site contains information about all the different activities that you can engage with that have been inspired by the Games. Whether it is being part of the London 2012 education programme Get Set, finding out about the Torch Relay or running your own Games inspired programme.
As part of the project we’ve also be encouraging Student Ambassadors to step up. The Ambassadors will promote ways to get engaged with the 2012 Games at UCLan.
